Hike the North Slope to Jack London SHP

Did you know that a new trail has opened connecting to our Hayfields trail. If you have hiked the Hayfields trail then you know how pristine and beautiful the upper reaches of the park are. Join John Lynch and Deborah Large as we explore the North Slope of the Sonoma Mountain Ridge Trail. We'll park at Jack London Park and car shuttle to the new North Slope trailhead. From there we will hike through meadows and mixed evergreens with incredible views connecting to Jack London Park; then continue from the upper reaches of the park down to the Jack London parking lot, for a total of 8 miles of strenuous hiking. Finally we will car shuttle back to the regional park. If you plan to offer a car shuttle bring your Regional Park Pass.

We suggest you wear sturdy shoes, bring plenty of water, hiking poles, lunch and binoculars on this 4 hour, strenuous hike open to all ages 15 and up.
