Jack London State Historic Park - Event Rules

EVENT RENTAL TIME
Event time is five hours, 5:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m., for weddings one hour of rehearsal time the day prior is allotted, five hours of set up time, one hour of breakdown time. 
 
All vendors must be off property by 11:00 p.m..  If your event exceeds the agreed upon hours additional charges of $100/ per hour will  apply.
 
A minimum  of (1) park staff will  be provided to monitor the event and address any immediate needs. We reserve the right to shut down the event if agreed to rules and regulations are broken.
 
VENDORS
To provide the highest level of service for your guests and to ensure compliance with the park regulations we require that you select vendors from our preferred list.
 
ALCOHOL
If any beer, wine or spirits are to be served at the event you must provide liability insurance. If beer, wine or spirits are being sold at an event liquor liability insurance is required in addition to an ABC license to sell alcohol.
 
INSURANCE
We require that you provide liability and property insurance coverage in the amount of $1,000,000.00 for the day of the event. We require a certificate of insurance naming Jack London State Historical Park as additional insured.
 
RENTALS
All event related rentals must come in the day of the event and must be picked up the day after the event by 10:00 am, unless other wise arranged and approved by the Park Event Management.
 
SPEED LIMIT
Speed limit is 12 miles per hour on all roads around the park. Any vendor in violation of this will  be asked to leave the property.
 
RESTROOMS
There is one portable restroom in the parking lot.  We strongly recommend that you bring in additional portable restrooms and restroom lighting for your guests comfort and convenience.
 
POWER
There is (1) 50 amp circuit, and (1) 20 amp circuit available to you for use at the winery ruins only, any additional power will  need to be brought in through rented generators.  All other sites at the park require a generator for power 
 
LIGHTING
Included in the site fee will  be lighting in the parking lot. Any additional lighting will  be the responsibility of the client.
 
MUSIC
All music must end by 10:00 p.m. No exceptions.
 
DECORATION
Nothing is to be affixed to the buildings.  If tents are used they must be freestanding. No stakes or anchors may be driven or dug into the ground.  No rice, b!irdseed, glitter, confetti or any other object that may harm the natural ecosystem will  be permitted.
 
PETS
We welcome pets but they must be on a leash at all times for the protection of other wildlife habitats.
 
DEPOSIT
A non- refundable deposit of 50% of anticipated charges is due at the time of booking.
 
PAYMENT
Accepted forms of payment may be cash, cashier ’s check or credit card. The remaining balance of your site fee, and any other additional charges due Jack London Historical Park will  be due (30) days prior to the scheduled event date.
